This is something Pope Francis said to Congress that happened to catch my attention. UPDATE: For some reason, many Christian viewers apparently have trouble reading between the lines and understanding my point, so let me clarify here: The reason I posted this video is because I was amused by the irony that the pope UNINTENTIONALLY spoke a truth about the God of the Bible. It's something that he obviously doesn't believe himself but which is nevertheless evident: God, as described in the Bible, is by any reasonable definition evil (see my other videos to see the comprehensive evidence). Part of the reason for this is that he sends people to be tortured forever in hell will no hope of redemption (eternal punishment isn't justice, especially for an all powerful being, and neither is punishment for simply not believing he exists). The pope's statement about what constitutes a just punishment is a direct (although certainly unintentional) contradiction of the kind of punishment God inflicts.
